Merry Christmas

A few pictures from Jake's first Christmas. It was so great! We spent Christmas Eve at Aunt Keri's with our extended family, Christmas morning at our house and the rest of Christmas at Ken's parents'.
We are blessed to enjoy this special holiday with such a sweet little man.

Bailey had a good day too (notice the paw around her moose).

6 Months!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Jake!!

Bailey kept interrupting our photo shoot.

SUCH a Jake look. Quite mischievous, don't you think?

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

Shopping for his first Christmas tree....

Hanging his first ornament....(with Dad's help)

His first blizzard (the snow is almost as tall as Jake!)...

Bring it on Santa!!

Buddies

Now that I'm back to work, Jake hangs out during the day at our friend Sara's house. She emailed me this picture today. Sara also has two kids, Harrison (almost 4) and Ruby (18 months). Ruby and Jake get to hang out the most as Harrison is in school 3 days a week. Can you tell they've become buddies?

Thanks Sara for taking such good care of Jake!

Thanksgiving in Oklahoma

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Oklahoma and had a ball. This also commemorates Jake's first plane flight and longest drive in the car. He was a champion traveler! He got to meet lots of friends and family that he hadn't met yet (they were pretty excited to meet him too). We had a great week - here are a few pics from our holiday:

Wearing Grandad's hat. Looks like a natural cowboy, huh?

I just love this picture. He did lots of rolling on the floor.

With his pretty aunt and cousin. We miss them already!

The day we had our picture taken. That face melts my heart.

Jake had "real" food this week too (besides just cereal) and loved every bite...still does! We're still finding remnants of this meal in his hair, eyes, ears, etc. :)

With his new cousin Amelie. They are only 6 weeks apart and destined to get into lots of trouble together soon.
