Visit from "Aunt" Kizzy

This last weekend Jen's best friend since first grade (and mother of almost 3 boys) came to meet Jake and hang out for a few days. It was so nice to have her here, and we all miss her already. Thanks Kiz for not getting annoyed at all the questions!

2 Months

It's hard to believe that our "little" Jake is 2 months old. He is really growing up so fast and truly getting so big. At his 2 month visit to the Dr., he is categorized in the 90th percentile for weight and 75th for height! His Dr. had to calibrate the scale just to make sure it was correct. But it's official - he's a big boy! He is a happy baby most of the time and is getting better at napping during the day, which makes for a happy mommy too. Here is our handsome man the day he turned 2 months old....

Bath Time (Take 1)

Here are some pics of our little fella enjoying bath time...pretty sure he was peeing in at least one of these pictures. And I'm sure there will be many more bath pictures to come.

Oh That Smile!

Within the last week we've been seeing some more smiles out of Jake and were finally able to catch some on camera. Notice the dimples!

First Trip to the Beach

We didn't last long but had a nice stroll on the beach with our little guy this weekend. Yes, Ken is wearing a tie at the beach...he had just gotten off work.

The Amazing Changing Pad

Jake loves this thing! No matter how mad, sad, or tired he seems to be, the changing pad never (maybe rarely) fails to calm him down. Sometimes we even get a smile. Thank God for the changing pad.
