10 Months

Is it possible that time is moving even faster than it did the first 9 months? We can't believe that our little man is already 10 months old and quickly approaching his first birthday. Truthfully, I don't think it's completely sunk in yet that we had a baby, so I'm a little in shock that my baby boy could be walking soon. He crawls in two speeds...fast and turbo. And pulls himself up onto anything he can. He's very determined. He's so big and of course we think he's brilliant! He makes us laugh daily and has quite a personality, which will hopefully be used for positive pursuits in the future. :)

How Do I Love Thee....

There are SO many ways! Thanks to our fabulous photographer for capturing these pics under the table. They are some of my favorites of all time.

Splash!

Jake recently discovered splashing in the bathtub. It is completely adorable and nearly impossible to actually bathe him!

Recent Pics

Sweet face.

Like Father, Like Son...I think they look so much alike in these pictures. This is the same, "Really, another picture?" look.

Happy Easter!

What a great day! Jake was great in church this morning, and the weather turned out to be perfect. We had some good food and good fun with family, complete with lots of goods from the Easter bunny.

9 Months!

Wow, what a month! This past month Jake has grown so big and done so many new things...I think we could slow it down a bit...he's growing so fast! As you may have seen, Jake got his first tooth a couple of weeks ago (the second is just days away). He is officially crawling now - and fast - and everywhere. He can pull himself up to standing but sometimes prefers to stay on his knees. He stands to play his LeapFrog table. He can feed himself with his fingers as of this morning...Jake and Dad were working on it for a couple of days. And he just started clapping today too. He's outgrown his infant carrier, so we installed the "big" car seats today, which means we're on to the "big" stroller too. He loves to pull the string on the ceiling fan. When you ask him, "Where is the light?" he points or looks right at it / them. He's amazing, and we are constantly in awe. Here are some pictures taken today....

That scrunchy face we love!

Look at that big tooth!
